The International Allan Pettersson Prize


The International Allan Pettersson Prize is awarded to a person, organisation or company that has made a significant contribution to Allan Pettersson's music. It is awarded by the board of the Allan Pettersson Foundation (“the Foundation”) and cannot be applied for. The International Allan Pettersson Prize is intended to encourage continued work with Allan Pettersson's music and also inspire others to do the same.


Grants


Terms


Grants from the Allan Pettersson Foundation can be applied for for a tangible, carefully defined project with a specified and clear project plan, a tangibly defined goal, schedule and budget. There is no special application form, but applications along with project plans are to be submitted via email. The projects can take the form of research, concert arrangements, recordings or anything else which stimulates interest in Allan Pettersson's life and work. The applications will be assessed on the basis of quality and strategic assessments.

Grants can be applied for twice a year. The spring application period is between March 1 and April 1 and for the autumn October 1 to November 1. Late applications will not be processed.


Who can apply


Grants can be applied for by individuals, organisations or companies who want to implement projects and initiatives in accordance with the above conditions. The grant can be applied for internationally.


What does the Foundation finance?


The grants aim to cover development costs and other project-related costs. The Allan Pettersson Foundation is at no time to be regarded as an employer.


Grants are not given for own education. Grants are also not given for projects that are completed before the application.


The maximum amount that can be applied for is SEK 100,000.

The application must consist of a description, goals and purpose of the project, schedule and budget.



Agreement and accounting


Grants must not be used for anything other than what the application refers to. Grant recipients are obliged to submit a report to the Foundation after one year.


Other conditions


Grants paid out may be claimed back if the project is not implemented or if the project deviates significantly from the project plan presented in the application.


The right to the grant expires if it is not requested within the time limit specified in the grant letter.


The above conditions may be unilaterally changed by the Foundation.


Applicants are aware of and give their consent to the Foundation's processing and storage of personal data for the internal processing process (Personal Data Act). Applicants have the right to access registered information. Upon applying, applicants give their consent to the publication of the applicant's name and project on the Foundation's website upon receiving a grant.


Electronic application


Applying for a grant can only be done via email. The application can be submitted in Swedish or English.

Confirmation will be sent out when the application is received by the Foundation. Please note that after the application has been submitted, it cannot be changed or supplemented.


Applicants are responsible for ensuring that the application is complete. The Foundation will not process incomplete applications.


Notice of whether a grant has been given or not will be sent to all applicants in May and November, respectively.
